2. Familienstand (Marital Status)​

3. Numbers (Zahlen)​

In German, numbers from 21 to 99 are formed by saying the unit number first, followed by "und" (and), and then the tens.

5. Kommunikation: Sich Vorstellen (Introducing Yourself)​

Use these phrases to introduce yourself and ask about others:

6. Dialogue Practice​

Person A: Ich bin Lehrerin und arbeite Vollzeit. Arbeiten Sie Vollzeit oder Teilzeit?
Person B: Ich arbeite Teilzeit, weil ich zwei Kinder habe. Sind Sie verheiratet?
Person A: Ja, ich bin verheiratet, aber ich habe keine Kinder.

Read the following text and answer the questions below:

Hallo, ich bin Markus und komme aus Berlin. Ich bin 29 Jahre alt und arbeite als Softwareentwickler. In meiner Freizeit spiele ich gerne Gitarre und gehe joggen. Ich bin verheiratet und habe eine kleine Tochter. Meine Lieblingssprache ist Deutsch, aber ich lerne auch Englisch.
